The East Slav.peasants fought with pitchforks against the invading westerners while the Polish and Lithuanian 'nobilty' took part in Napoleon's campaigns. Quite obviously a lot of people are being fed nationalists historiography in grade school

  12.  @redrust3  Actually there were large periods of time when the US had very low immigration either due to external circumstances or restrictionist laws. This includes the mid 20th century when we were at the height of our power and had huge increases in everyone's standard of living. Also Obama's father wasn't an immigrant but a foreign student that knocked up a self hating white woman then went back to Africa

  13. Any EU country can donate on its own. As for the US, in our system the House is the origin of money bills. The Presidents budget is just a suggestion. So the House isnt blocking anything... It is doing its job.
