These are Russian speaking kids.

@splashkid8410 The editing, the music, the claiming that people can speak freely in Ukraine.

@sumitpandey8604 Good questions. I'll bet some of these cases are also about family disputes. Notice no fathers were featured. There are plenty of 'Ukrainian' families that are mixed Russian and Ukrainian. Dad wants the kid in Russia, Mom wants the kid in Ukraine.

@eberkovich Clearly these children are Russian speaking..they don't even have a Ukrainian accent from what I've heard.

"Hey kids, how do you feel about Azov using your families as hu!an shields during the battle for Mariupol." That's literally the way Yeungs question about that city was loaded, except in the opposite ideology. The camp admin was right to stop the interview there.

@YuraK25 Donbas voted for autonomy in 1994, largely over language issues. 'Ukraine' hasn't had a census since 2001. Any figures about who identifies as 'Ukrainian' are worthless.

@ArezX3 How are 'Kosovars' Kosovars when they are in Serbia?

@sycomorah1380 Donbas voted for autonomy in 1994. There are millions of ethnic Russian refugees from Donbas in the Russian federation. So much so that the anti Putin channel 2420 regularly runs into them at random during interviews. They usually say there family friend etc support Russia. Indeed even Kievan troops have complained that in Lugansk and elsewhere the population is against them, won't leave or is 'waiting' for the Russians.

@sakr-el-bahr272 Yeah dropped to pick up the ATGM Kornet and take out the German Leopard tank.

Here's the deal...the Donbas and southern Ukraine is Russian speaking. The regions have never been Ukrainian in any cultural or linguistic sense. Ukraine has been trying to exterminate Russian language and culture from the area...a reason than Donbas voted for autonomy way back in 1994. If the kids truly have parents looking for them of course they should be returned. If they are orphans then educating Russian speaking children in Russia away from a war zone is hardly a crime.

@ALLRNDCRICKETER Dude the US doesn't recognize the ICC either...

Really..armed men looking for Ukranian children? Or, assuming the footage is real...remember Zelensky's government is full of showbiz people... Russian soldiers looking for Ukranian troops who are known for garrisoning in schools, hospitals etc.

What are these children's identities. They are Russian speaking. They live in a country that officially has been trying to strangle their culture and language for decades, even before the Soviet Union broke up.

He was right to say Russky...all the children I heard are clearly Russian speaking.
