  4.  @paulbyrne826  As so many NAFO types tell me when it comes to US promises not to expand NATO, that government doesn't exist anymore. But as you note Crimea was put into "Ukraine" by fiat and very recently in historic terms. The region has zero connection to the Borderland.

  7. The Russian federation has many languages that are official in appropriate regions or republics. Ukraine has only 'Ukrainian'.
