@3VILmonkey don't kid yourself, the military is every bit controlled by politicians. They will reflect what they think is in their best interests. Reality not withstanding.

90% should wear mask for this thing to work. So where do I sign up to be part of that 10%?

@3VILmonkey no, he's right. It's probably just another one of those touchie, feely things that people do to make themselves feel like they're doing something but in reality does nothing at best and may be actually harmful at worst.
