You DO realizes he was prophesying when he said that, as well everything else in Matt: 24. Now to answer your question, YES! I do love God because he first loved me. Do you know how I know this, the bible told me, that's the book that tells us who God is and what his nature is like. So contrary to what you think, we can know God!!

PS, you need to revisit Matt:24, his disciples were clearly asking him about future events not things or people from the past.

As far as God putting cancer and the like on us, remember we live in a fallen world and this is why these things happen. However, Jesus said Satan comes to kill steal and destroy, but I've come to give you life and that more abundantly. So you see God gets blamed for what Satan does. As far as what love is you seem to have a bitterness in your tone, so I'll make a suggestion, ask this God of the bible to make himself real to you, no one elese has to know and see what happens. What have you got to lose.

@jwu1950 do you know how mixed up your point of view sounds? first, you denounce the bible and then turn around and quote it to defend your point. Second, you ask me if I loved God, I said yes and I gave a reason ( it would be kinda stupid if I had no reason) then you made your assumption that it was God that did all these terrible things to people when in fact the bible says these things are from satan which you completely ignored. Then you go on a rant how politicians created the bible when in fact the bible says that all scripture is inspired by God. Thirdly, Jesus fulfilled the law of the old covenant. Finally, read Matt: 24-3 his disciples are asking him when will these things come to pass a CLEAR indication of things in the future. You seem to come across as someone whose been indoctrinated into a weird understanding of the bible because you just go one in this mindless loop with out any regard to what's being said.

@Water & Sky so you prefer security more than freedom, OK lots of people make that choice. However, lets set the record straight about a couple of things, yes there are a lot of areas in many American cities that are dangerous to be in, but they're easily avoided. Secondly, the idea that the healthcare system in America is terrible is way over blown. For example, I'm just a retired auto worker and like the vast majority of Americans I have health insurance, if I want to see a doctor I can have an oppointment within 24 hrs and more often than not to same day, if I want a specific doctor I get the next available appointment which is usually within 2 to 3 days. My copay cost me pennys on the dollar for example if any meds are prescribed that may cost 100 dollars I'd have to pay around 5 dollars out of pocket and unlike the nonsense that people are told, everyone who goes to an emergency room gets treated no one is turned away. Lastly, I'm not sure what you mean by " traffic regulations" but one thing America has an abondence of is roads! If there's a place you want to go, there's a road to get you there. So all in all, in life there are going to be risks and uncertainties and we have to decide how much freedom are we willing to give up for safety and security.

@jwu1950 my kids are doing fine. As far as auto jobs they're still here, true not as many but that has to do with automation than anything else however there are far more different car companies building here than ever before. American laws are made to protect our freedom that's why we don't have political prisoners. I can say anything I want against America and nothing will happen, try that in China.You seem to have a lot of irritation hate towards the U.S. maybe you should try to find something good to say instead, I think you'll feel better and that love you keep talking about won't sound so hypocritical.

@jwu1950 actually, America is a republic not a democracy. You say China is not a dictatorship then turn around and defend dictatorship. You say the bible was not written by God and yet you constantly quote from it. So communism was started 90 years ago, big deal, it's dying out everywhere except China and a few other minor holdouts. @jwu1950 hay you came through today. Just to repeat, you more often than not don't pop up in my comment section anymore, so it's to time consuming to go looking for you. However, when you do I love it because it's always great to start the day with a good laugh! You have made me realize just how little foreigners understand the way America works and for that I want to thank you. FREEEEEEDOM to do anything I want to do, be anything I want be, go anywhere I want to go, anytime I want to do it. That just never occurs to us that anyone would consider that a bad thing. So don't stop the crazy rants, it's a great insight into how an indoctrinated mind works. PS, we'll see how the trade war works out and just to let you know how western capitalism works, independent companies have already started finding suppliers outside China to keep them running strong. Many of the things that you describe as middle class are found in the poorest homes in America, wealth is relevant. Lastly, the poor, as most people understand poor is relative. You might want to do a survey with the American poor and ask them if they would rather be poor in America or poor in China see what the results will be. Then expand that survey to all the world's poor and see what they say. Right now we have millions sneaking into our country where as China might get an occasional north Korean escaping from that hell hole . looking forward to your next insane tirade, hope it comes through.
