Wow . . . what a great temperament, in addition to a great mind. Only 23?!?!

@brolytard4life441 Sorry to hear that. I used to think that liberals fawned over their sacred victims because they cared and felt guilty, maybe, but now I suspect that they do this to reassure themselves continually of their own superiority. Bet you could just barf.

@Mark Johhson You do realize that you are implying that a certain class of sacred victim is too witless to figure out how to obtain an ID, right? You've just illustrated liberal bigotry better than I ever could. Thank you, Mark. Bless your bleeding heart. ❤

Bingo.

My elder brother was a total scamp until he was about 25, and then settled down into a decent citizen. I have a sister who doesn't remember his teasing fondly; I wish she would understand this a little better, because he's been dead 6 years and she still badmouths him.

Carlin himself lost the funny and just got pissy toward the end.

If she had to sound diffident and qualify everything in terms of "some Britons wanted A, but on the other hand, there were others who wanted B . . . " the interview would have been 3 hours long and tedious as hell. I think it's safe to assume a prevailing view in a particular nation, most of the time. Otherwise you have an incoherent mob.

Well, congratulations. You have an opinion.

He mentioned the "huge riots" set off by the beating of Rodney King, but not King by name. Does it matter if he named King or not?

I give him credit for being honest. I did vote for Trump out of the feeling that Clinton was much worse, but I had low expectations for him as a sort of clownish personage, and rationalized that "At least people will scrutinize Trump, which they will never do with Clinton." Hey, I just knew Trump as a playboy who built towers and casinos, from back in the 1980s. I'm more than pleasantly surprised with Trump's leadership, now, but I don't blame Hughes-a very young man- for having worried, and for not liking his tweets.
