  2. Olbermann has always been self-important. Kicks down at work, gets fired a lot, only responds to attention and praise, has little audience awareness, as evidenced by his self-indulgence in eulogizing his dead father day after day and going on at length about another notorious bore, James Thurber. As if nobody ever lost a father before. Or read James Thurber in high school. That was before MSNBC kicked him to the curb, replacing him with the less flagrantly crazy Maddow.

  3. Yeah, you're supposed to aspirate and reposition if you get a blood return, which almost nobody does, because hitting a vessel is pretty uncommon. I once got a flu shot as I was taking report on the phone and whoever gave me the shot did hit a big vessel. Bled a puddle on the desktop in just a few seconds.
