  1. Jon is an MMA god. He's improved every step of the way. This was one of the first fights that he relied heavily on his hands. His boxing has improved very well.

  3. A lot of "fans" want quiet fighters, it seems, unless you are white and then you can be cocky and not get criticism for it. It's almost like they want to feel some connection to the fighter. A fighter that makes it seem like he is no different than the general public person makes "fans" more comfortable. A fighter that seems unbeatable and is outspoken about their talents makes people uneasy because people seem to fear highly successful people that dont make them feel all warm and cosy.

  4. to be fair, Jones can't control what greg jackson says, and jon would have eventually gone over to check on machida. He isn't that bad of a person.

  5. What else was he supposed to do, coddle him? It was the end of the fight, the ref signalled for him to seperate himself from Machida and in cases where a fighter might be injured, fighters are told to go to the corner and allow the proper handlers..ie ring doctors, to watch over the fighter. Again, Jon Jones cannot control what greg jackson says. I don't think jones needs to be humble and that if he shows a lot of confidence that it makes him a bad person.

  6. It does. MMA fans are the dumbest fans of any sport I've been around. It's like a majority of the fans are pre teen kids from disfunctional homes. Most are trailer trash with mental problems, also.
