  21.  @hurriyetuludr3737  As much as I understand your worries we shouldn't look for radical measures since radicalism always dooms societies the most. I personally think immigration should neither be free nor banned. Free because you know and banned because Europe simply needs young men to counter the demographic decay. So I support the general idea of controlled immigration. Nations can have a specific quota relative to their population. That quota determines the amout of visas/citizenships handed out. Some people already have visa-free access so those can be excluded. But those coming from poorer nations need more checks and balances and therefore their number has to be limited. Because if there are to many immigrants at once they'll just gather among themselfs weakening integration. Integration works best when people are faced with a culture that is overwhelming to theirs. Both in qualitive and quantative. Learning the language and interacting with locals is a very basic but effective way of achieving this. Therefore I'd say condition for a permanent stay is learning the language within the first visa-period (of a few years). If someone can speak English then he'd also have to apply for a job to not unneccessarly drain the social wellfare state. On the other hand I think Europeans should not change their culture for immigrants. Actually the exact opposite. Europeans have to embrace their cultures and identities even more so that immigrants have something they can actually adapt to. That's my very broad idea of improving immigration without banning it all together.
