Actually Britain and France paid money to Israel to invade Egypt and they predicted that mighty Israeli army will capture the Suez chanel, and then they will blame Israel in warmongering in UN and send their forces as peacekeepers to seize Suez chanel, this was a conspiracy between Israel, Britain and France, but they badly miscalculated - Israeli got stuck on the border so when they landed with their forces to Egypt while blaming Israel they simply f%cked up themselves, and then USA intervened because British control over Suez was not profitable for them, America wanted to control Europe and not allow European powers to spread their influence
