  1. As a lawyer I can say that "memorandum" itself is NOT document with requirement to complete it, this is something like "promise", and Ukraine violated it first by becoming non-neutral. Also, Ukraine even didn't marked its signature on this document so why Russia, USA or any other state should care if Ukraine even didn't signed this memorandum LOL

  3. Ukraine was trying to join NATO. Russia is afraid of NATO spreading to the East. Also, in 2021 Zelensky said, that Ukraine would gain the nuclear weapons, and all negotiations between NATO and Russia in 2021-2022 have failed. All negotiations between Russia and Ukraine have failed. This is why war started. We must blame both sides, but not only Russia. Ukraine also wasn't saint - this is really nationalistic country. In Ukraine in 2018 was provided language reform - Russian languade was banned in TV, governmental buildings, markets and schools. Ukrainian police was supressing the traders in the markets, because they are speaking Russian. Also, in Ukraine there were normal meetings in suppourt of Stephan Bandera - Ukrainian nationalist, who provided genocides of Russians during WW2 and lead Ukrainian partisan army, that fought against both Germans and Soviets. Modern Ukraine is a really nationalistic government. And Ukraine was trying to join NATO and gain nukes. This is seriously threating Russia, so this is why the war have started

  5. Russia don't need them, Russia have 200 thousand volunteers coming to military every half of a year for huge salary and payments and social guarantees. But any help will be useful, so it is silly for Russia to reject help, so Russia allowed North Korean troops to gain combat experience

  6. Putin believed in his own propaganda about the alleged Bandera in Ukraine, and thinking that the Ukrainian people were suppressed by their state, Putin expected to take Ukraine in 3 days. This is evidenced by the words of Russian propaganda (I live in Russia), as well as the situation at the front now. Russian military command apparently didn't prepared sufficient supplies, and the Russian troops don't have any numerical superiority over the Ukrainian army, although the attacking side suffers greater losses than the defending side. At the same time, Ukrainians have high morale, and Russians are demoralized and don't want to fight with the fraternal people. The Russian army is advancing without normal supplies and doesn't actually establish control over the territory, moving with the help of convoys vulnerable to ambushes on the roads. And after 2 weeks, the Russian army got bogged down, having just reached Ukrainian cities and achieved average success - Kherson and Melitopol were occupied, Mariupol and Chernihiv were taken in encirclements. There is no supply in the encirclements. And the Ukrainian troops in the encirclements are doomed. Russia need to reinforce the Ukrainian theather and form the frontline, stopping the attack by roads and establishing control over the territories. Russians need to build supply infastructure. When Russians doing this, Ukrainians would have opportunity to mobilize manpower and counterattack. Russia would win this war, but there would be high casualities from both sides and the war would last for a long time. There is possibility that Russia would accept a peace threaty, like in 2008 - when Russia didn't fully conquerred Georgia and peace threaty was made.

  15. Russia invaded Ukraine, because Ukraine was trying to join NATO, and Russia considers NATO as a threat to its safety. Russia have rights to be concerned of her safety. Just like in 1962 US were concerned about Soviet missiles on Cuba, and in 2003 US were concerned by nuclear programm of Iraq. Putin isn't targeting the expansion and conquest - good example is Russo-Georgian war in 2008. In 2008 Russia didn't fully occupied Georgia. This is the evidence, that Putin's target isn't agressive expansion, but just what he was saying for the last 22 years - NATO spreading to the East. He invaded Georgia and Ukraine, because he didn't wanted to see them as a part of NATO alliance. And Russia don't have rights to be concerned of her security, I don't think that Putin's target is a full conquest of Ukraine
