  1. Ukraine was trying to join NATO. Russia is afraid of NATO spreading to the East. Also, in 2021 Zelensky said, that Ukraine would gain the nuclear weapons, and all negotiations between NATO and Russia in 2021-2022 have failed. All negotiations between Russia and Ukraine have failed. This is why war started. We must blame both sides, but not only Russia. Ukraine also wasn't saint - this is really nationalistic country. In Ukraine in 2018 was provided language reform - Russian languade was banned in TV, governmental buildings, markets and schools. Ukrainian police was supressing the traders in the markets, because they are speaking Russian. Also, in Ukraine there were normal meetings in suppourt of Stephan Bandera - Ukrainian nationalist, who provided genocides of Russians during WW2 and lead Ukrainian partisan army, that fought against both Germans and Soviets. Modern Ukraine is a really nationalistic government. And Ukraine was trying to join NATO and gain nukes. This is seriously threating Russia, so this is why the war have started
