  1. Western Front was smaller, but not insignifficant. Germany concentrated in West more than 1 400 000 troops, and lost 655 000 killed in 1944-45. After capitulation a lot of germans went to west to surrender.

  2. Operation Cobra is probably one of the most succesful strategic operation in history. This is wonderful, such long and fast manuever, wonderful how germans didn't blocked it by reinforcements, and which result - all France liberated in few days, german frontline collapsed
