This is very rare cases. As a Russian citizen I can say that there are a lot of MIA that in reality are KIA. Because when artilley shells completely destroy your body into atoms you will be counted as MIA. And as I heard from my father, while my father heard it from his friends or bros, this happens quite often, when soldier died in the grey zone, in no man's land, or there is nothing left from his body or face. Also, Mediazona counts only posts in social media or photos from graveyards. Not all Russian people, especially 40yo + have social media or will publish funeral of their relative. So, in fact we can say that actual Russian casualities are about 300 thousand KIA or crippled. I live in Moscow and we don't feel war here, but people from rural areas already have volunteers from this war in every village, at least one man per village who went to war as volunteer. Often this is 40-60 years old men who got unlucky in life, with no job or poor salary, no family or divorced, alchogolic, smoking, fat, heart problems, poor physical state. Young men don't participate in this war in huge quantities. So in fact Russia have strong reserve of young men that got untouched by war in case of war with NATO I guess.
