  1.  @brunocappelletti4131  you don't know how geopolitics work. Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine took place in march 2022 in Istambul, Turkey. Russia literally started invasion just to force Ukraine to negotiations and negotiate with Ukraine about its neutrality. In the start of the war Russia was occupying territories just to use them as a exchange coin in negotiations. In late march 2022 Ukraine asked Russia to show a gesture that Russia is ready to sign the documents of peace deal, and Russian army left all northern Ukraine in early april 2022, and after this Ukraine simply stopped negotiations, while Western politicians promised Ukraine weapons and support. But in reality the defeat of Russia isn't a target of West, West wants a years long war of attrition, to exhaust Russia economically, and West was providing Ukraine with insufficient amount of help for the entire war. Ukraine was receiving relativelly small amount of weapons, Ukraine received tanks only after a year of war, and at now US stopped to help Ukraine. West wants just to exhaust Russia, and West wouldn't allow Ukraine to win. There was a dozen of mobilization waves in Ukraine, Ukrainian demography is destroyed. And all this for nothing. Ukrainian army suffered huge casualities and still was unable to win and liberate Crimea, while German and Western tanks and vehicles burned in Zaporijie. Ukraine had a chance to achieve peace in april 2022, if Ukraine signed this document from Istambul, and Russian demands in march 2022 were much lesser than Russia have at now - in march 2022 Russia just wanted Ukrainian neutrality and territories of Donbass rebels that they controlled before 24th of february 2022. After 2022 Russia have 4 new annexed regions in its constitution, and Russia must secure its consritutional territorial integrity, so at now Russia wants much more territory than in march 2022 and still wants neutrality.
