  1. Nothing wonderful, German invasion simply destroyed Soviet agriculture, and after WW2 Soviet Union itself starved (1.6 million Soviet civillians died of hunger in 1945-47). Say thanks, that Soviets gave food to captured German, Italian, Hungarian, Romanian and Bulgarian soldiers, who were to blame in start of this hunger, while Soviet citizens died from hunger.
