My friend and I wanted to take part in the protests yesterday. We were stopped by a police patrol on Pushkin Square. My friend was detained and put in a paddy wagon simply because he refused to unbutton his jacket - he had a Ukrainian flag in his inner pocket. I was afraid to go to Manezhnaya Square without him. People protested there, and went to the Lubyanka.

@jermsbestfriend9296 they don't have opportunity. Russian government is a model of ideal dictatorship, that was built for centruries. In Russia adults are politically paralized, because government would simply dismiss worker for parcticipation in protest. Government also would easily deduct the student from university. The weapons are illegal in Russia without special documents. If we talking about Moscow - Russia have Roman system - capital is a very whealth place, much richer than other country. People wouldn't protest in Moscow, while other places in Russia poorly populated to start a huge protest. People also afraid of police and "law". This all makes the huge protests in Russia impossible
