Well, in general, our goals are rather vague. First, the global goal is for Ukraine to abandon its course towards joining NATO. We need this in order for an independent Ukraine to exist, which will not be in NATO and will not move closer to the West. A military defeat will lead to a political crisis in Ukraine, and people loyal to us will come to power there. In fact, I just told you what happened to Georgia after the August 2008 war. We do not need to capture the whole of Ukraine in order to achieve all the goals. Our second goal is to protect the right to self-determination of those Russian people who inhabit the regions of the south-east of Ukraine and who in 2014 raised an uprising against the Kyiv authorities. In fact, we have already achieved these goals - we have captured enough territories in the south-east of Ukraine. It remains only to find an argument that will allow us to force Ukraine to make peace. Then Zelensky’s support rating will collapse and the Ukrainian people will hate Zelensky for signing peace with us. Zelensky will lose power, there will be a political crisis in Ukraine, and all of Ukraine will become ours, like Georgia, where people loyal to us are now in power
