When comparing these two armies, it is also worth considering that Ukraine receives a huge amount of weapons from the West, without which Ukraine would be bad, because Ukraine has lost the Soviet military industry, which could provide the army with supplies. As for the situation at the front, it is important to understand that Russia is fighting against Ukraine without mobilization, using only volunteers from among contract soldiers. Russia uses only 40% of the pre-war strength of its army when Ukraine conducts mass mobilization.
