@Klarkada Yes, money laundering is a crime if the money truly comes from illegal activities. But the gov will go after any money it even suspects of being from illegal activities. I've been in banks and seen customers have the cops called on them by the bank simply for trying to withdraw or deposit large amounts of money. I've also seen news reports about people who have had large amounts of cash seized simply because they were carrying it (instead of keeping it in a bank and using checks or credit/debit cards to exchange it for goods/services).

@Klarkada No, I am saying they should not be able to seize/freeze assets until guilt has been proven. Trust me, gov has the technology to prevent crimes. But the crimes continue because "gov" (or at least people in office and other gov employees) are behind a portion of the crimes. Many of the arrests are simply efforts to eliminate the competition. Understand? If you don't believe me, tell me, how is it possible for children to continue to disappear in 1st world nations where there is video surveillance everywhere and cell phones are also used for surveillance? Various gov agencies ranging from the CIA to UN have been found to be involved in child trafficking. They use the surveillance technology to find and hunt down their targets (children). These children are then used to control politicians using blackmail after giving the children to politicians to do the unspeakable. Understand?

@Klarkada In the nation where I reside gov is known to seize assets before guilt is proven. As I said I have seen banks treat customers like criminals simply for making large cash deposits or withdrawals in form of cash. Although it may be true criminals may have large amounts of cash not everyone with large amounts of cash obtained it though crime. So long as there is room for doubt of guilt gov should not be violating their right to privacy.

@Klarkada You're missing my point. They DO go after innocent people. This has been proven although rarely because most innocent people do not have the resources to properly contest the gov in court after all their assets are seized by gov. The "gov" are pirates. Do your research and you will see I speak the truth.

@Klarkada Again, I don't believe suspicion of a crime justifies seizing/freezing assets. IMO if there is any possibility a person may be innocent gov has no right to accuse and certainly no right to seize assets based on a mere accusation of a crime. Only if someone claims to be a victim or if there is no room for doubt of guilt does gov have a right to seize/freeze assets and even then only if the gov is righteous (as opposed to a criminal mob like many are) and also only if the alleged crime is truly a crime meaning there truly is a victim (or potential victim). Otherwise, the gov has no right to interfere.

YT needs to start using cryptocurrency so it can pay users for likes, shares, etc so users can then pay YT to watch the videos. Then there would be no need for ads. Why aren't YT and other big tech giants following this funding model used by their competitors? Probably because the data mining big tech claims is intended for targetted advertising is actually intended for surveillance, mind control, and political control. Why else would they refuse to change?

@Klarkada BTW there is no anonymity online. Any attempt to evade gov detecting use of crypto after a ban on crypto is futile. Gov will know who is violating the ban but may not go after everyone to keep targets believing they can get away with it so the gov can take down the competition. Meanwhile those criminals working in cahoots with gov will not be punished.

@Klarkada IMO, if there is any possibility a person may be innocent gov has no right to even violate privacy to investigate the possibility they (the suspect) may be commiting the suspected crime. If the gov cannot prove guilt (beyond any shadow of doubt) with the evidence they already have then they don't have the right to begin to violate privacy in an attempt to prove guilt. Violating privacy to prove guilt is a crime itself IMO. While it may be true violating privacy before guilt is proveable with the available evidence helps save people who are or would be victimized by criminals, innocent people are also harmed by those playing superhero. There are other ways peope can be helped. Gov is supposed to protect people's rights not violate them. One can't say they protect people's rights if they are violating them. Gov tends to use the excuse that more will be harmed than protected if they don't violate rights. For example, if the majority of people will die because of some terrorist bioweapon it may seem justifiable to violate privacy if it is necessary to save those lives. But many would rather die than have their rights violated by gov. After all, what is the point of living in a society where your rights are being violated by the same gov which is supposed to protect those rights?

@Klarkada When I say guilt must be proven only with available evidence (in the absence of accusation by a claimed victim) I mean the evidence which is already available. When I say the gov has tech which makes it impossible to hide anything from gov I am NOT talking about conventional video surveillance. I am talking about things like smart dust. You see? I even have reason to believe they also have time travel tech so can thwart any crimes before they happen. I know that may sound crazy but it really isn't as crazy as it may sound. Police use crime prediction services which even tell them where to go before it happens. Some of these crime prediction services are no doubt using quantum computers which operate across (and create) alternate timelines.

@Klarkada Presuming you are talking about the "smart dust" and other exotic tech I mentioned, it's not off topic. It is absolutely relevant. That tech was developed partly to combat terrorism. Smart dust is everywhere. It is released into the atmosphere and used to predict weather but also to surveil. It can see and hear everything including your thoughts. There is no hiding from the gov's all seeing eye. They know everything. At least those at certain levels do. If they don't already know everything they soon will. You asked me how else to contend with the problem of crime or money laundering so I am now telling you. They can use Ai to do the surveillance so they can say "nobody is listening" with some degree of honesty (presuming the Ai is not conscious). Then privacy can be protected to an extent. Especially if the surveillance is done by an Ai which has been merged with our body (and our mind). Then it could be said we are simply surveilling ourselves. This Ai can scan for criminal activity (or intent to commit a crime) locally the way iPhones now scan themselves for illegal photos locally on the phone instead of having a remote computer or humans working for apple or gov remotely surveil you. Your privacy is breached by an iPhone only when illegal content is detected on your phone. Likewise an Ai embedded into our body could be designed to breach our privacy only when we commit a crime or intend to commit a crime at which point it could alert authorities. Or it may come to pass that this Ai embedded within our body will also function as law enforcement and also punish you for your crimes in some way such as by terminating your life (using implanted nanotech) if you prove to be dangerous. More likely crimes may be prevented by using mind control which takes control to correct your thoughts and behavior but only if you start to think incorrectly. In the wrong hands that tech would be dangerous but if properly managed such as by making it all declassified and open source then it would be safer and would be regarded as simply maintaining mental health instead of being mind control. I'm sure some people will argue that it is mind control and a threat to liberty but others will say it is the path to creating a crime free utopian world. I just hope it will end the destruction of the ecosystem so animals are no longer poisoned by toxic garbage inconsiderate people leave everywhere the way they presently do (for example the toxic waste illegal covert meth lab operators dump on roadsides, in ditches, and into gutters and gutter drains poisoning birds which are actually very intelligent creatures superior to humans imo). Some say this tech is already being deployed covertly. If so it seems it will soon become a well known part of our reality because such tech is now being developed and deployed within the eye of the public. Sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie perhaps but this is 2022. Do you expect the world to stay the same forever with all the advancements in technology which have taken place over the past few decades? It is really starting to take off and many technologies I was starting to think I'd never see are now available. For example Ai which assists or fully takes over the multimedia creation process. You probably wouldn't believe that sort of multimedia tech which is now available and what it can do. It can create music, video games, movies, news reports, and documentaries with merely a verbal description of what you want (allowing you to act more like a director or producer). That tech alone makes me feel like I am living in a very different world. The long awaited future is here. You will soon see if you don't already.
1
@Klarkada Not to seem completely ungrateful. Perhaps I wouldn't be alive if it weren't for you thwarting terrorists. Perhaps I wouldn't be arguing against investigation if I didn't know privacy preserving solutions exist (such as the implanted Ai which scans the mind locally instead of remotely, keeping all info within the body at all times even after threats are detected after which dangerous behavior is preempted through mind control).
1
@Klarkada LOL! The authorities at the top have at least some of it (the smart dust at least). Not to scare you but don't be surprised if you are soon out of that job if it gets automated by the Ai tech I described. I doubt you will have reason to despair over that though because Ai will be freeing us all to do what we'd rather be doing with our lives: having fun instead of wasting our lives working.
