  1. The spending bill never made it to Trump's desk because it was rejected by the Senate. Why are people blaming Trump rather than those in the Senate who refused to vote in favor of the spending bill?

  2. Here's an alternative: Make the doctors pay the patient for all the invaluable knowledge doctors gather from patients. Doctors treat patients like the patient is the only one benefiting from the medical care provided when in fact the doctors also benefit from the patients because the doctors and healthcare system in general learn invaluable information from patients which then leads to new discoveries, helps determine effectiveness of new and/or emerging technologies or diagnostic and/or treatment protocols, and therefore improves healthcare. Once doctors start paying patients for healthcare then the cost of healthcare will be offset or balanced by the amount the patients get paid. Many patients may even have money left over after medical expenses are paid. So long as patients are compensated enough to cover any medical costs which may come up then nobody will ever be unable to afford the medical care they need.
