@uweinhamburg Hello uwe. Last I heard the deadline for a hard no-deal brexit was reset for no later than the end of 2020 meaning the UK could be out before then if a deal is reached but no later than the end of 2020 if no deal reached. There was also a report saying that deadline might get reset to sometime in 2021.

Hard no-deal brexit if no deal by end of 2020 you say? Isn't that when there will be another election which could oust boris johnson and put an end to brexit?

@Repulse theMonkey Im not in the UK or EU so makes no difference to me. Just wondering if there will be another election at the end of 2020 or not.

@uweinhamburg I'm confused. Putting all you've said together, it sounds like you are saying the UK will be out of the EU on February 1st. Then the EU will have until november of 2020 to reach some sort of severance package deal with the UK, if I understood you correctly. Is that right?

@uweinhamburg I don't understand what you mean. Are you saying that the UK will no longer be part of the EU in February and will thereafter have until november to work out a brexit deal with the EU? Wishing you and your family a good 2020 as well, uwe.
