  1. That guitar sounds out of tune. LOL! Now that I've grown up and have a better ear for tuning I can see why my father hated the Cure.

  2.  @diggydude5229  It wasn't just a chorus effect. Robert Smith deliberately detuned his guitar(s). He actually explained exactly how he detuned it in at least one interview I read. I believe it was the Rolling Stone interview which was published shortly after their Disintegration album came out. It was just one note which he tuned either sharp or flat.
