  1. Homosexual marriage which is regarded as equal to a heterosexual marriage did not exist prior to modern times even in cultures which accepted homosexuality such as the ancient greeks and romans. Now all of a sudden the gays/lesbians want their marriages to be regarded as equal to hetero marriages. Why is that? Why were they not demanding such equality in ancient times?
