  1. So let me get this straight. Joe is bashing kids who adopt upspeak, says he doesn't trust them because they're fake. But then says it's an adaptation to your environment, an attempt to fit in, a way of communicating your "tribe" (techies). Then he admits to adopting a boston accent when he lived in boston as a kid. But then condemns people who adopt an upspeak accent?
