@omnisomnia The covid19 death rate at the moment is much higher than 1%. More like 6% (but was as high as 28% at one point). To find the death rate you calculate the number of deaths divided by the total number of closed cases (cases with an outcome). If you really want to be accurate, when I say total number of cases I don't mean the number of people who test positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus but rather the number of people who MAY have covid such as those with pneumonia, strokes, and heart attacks. The reason you should not use only the number of those who test positive for the virus is because there are a lot of problems with the tests. For example, it hasn't yet been proven that SARS-CoV-2 virus actually causes the disease called covid19 (don't confuse the disease for the virus, they are not the same thing). The info which comes with the test kit says this. There's more involved in accurately calculating the death rate but this method gives a more accurate number than most methods people use such as the number of national deaths divided by the total national population. Yes, I know you have read/heard the death rate is less than 1% but all you need to do is divide the number of deaths by the number of cases and you will get a much higher number. BTW don't forget to move the decimal 2 places to the right to convert the result to a percentage. If something experimental is going to be required then the insurance companies need to start paying for all the cures and treatments (for non-covid diseases) they usually refuse to pay for because they are deemed "experimental".

@omnisomnia We don't count asymptomatic people because they don't know what causes covid19 yet. It's only presumed to be caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. But all we know for certain is there is this disease, meaning a cluster of symptoms, we call "covid19" which is a type of lung damage and blood clots and some sort of menengitis. We don't know what causes that beyond an overeactive immune system due to a "cytokine storm"). So asymptomatic people don't count because they don't have covid19. Remember what I said, not to confuse covid19 with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, because they are not the same thing. Covid19 is the cluster of symptoms. We don't know for certain that a virus causes the symptom cluster we call "covid19". So, asymptomatic people don't count as having covid19. Only those who get sick count. It may be true the SARS-CoV-2 virus causes the disease and that the true number is lower than it would appear. But we don't know that yet. It seems the virus may only be a cofactor (if even that; for all we know, the virus may be a communicable antibody against something such as certain toxins and that it's only in some people with overreactive immune systems that the disease manifests as a result of being activated by this antibody). The real cause of covid19 is whatever causes the immune system to overreact. That is the real cause. So, the most accurate way of calculating covid19 death rate is to calculate percentage from the ratio of the deaths vs the number of closed cases of covid19 (the disease NOT the virus). There is no better way to calculate the death rate at this time. That is my understanding of it. My understanding could become obsolete or may even already be obsolete. Feel free to correct me if that happens or has already happened.

@omnisomnia Are there any cases of covid19 where the patient has tested negative for SARS-CoV-2? I mean are there cases of people with the symptom cluster such as the lung damage, fever, etc. who test negative for the virus? This is why raw CDC data includes deaths attributed to related conditions (pneumonia and influenza). I'm guessing somebody who tested negative for the virus will not qualify for a diagnosis of covid19 despite the fact that the virus hasn't yet been proven to cause the disease according to the standard method of proving cause using koch's postulates (last I checked).

@omnisomnia Perhaps true but there is no way to know the true prevalence and what the risks are if you ask me because there is no way to know what causes it and as you pointed out there is so much fraud going on in the medical industry to make money from exploiting this pandemic. You presume most people are asymptomatic. But based on what? Because they test positive for something which has yet to be proven to be the cause? It may be the cure! How can you know how prevalent it will be? Although fraud may be artificially inflating the numbers at this stage I read the error due to fraud results in only about 1 in 4 cases said to be covid19 not being covid19 or something like that. I don't remember the exact number but it was smaller than I thought and made me take this more seriously. If true then this may prove to be more prevalent than anyone expects. Or maybe not. Does this justify taking away people's rights? No not in my opinion. I believe there are alternatives to vaccines which are more effective and don't have any development time. The simplest solution is for people to stop overpopulating regions and spread out into smaller closed self-sufficient communities (instead of forming a global community as we have). That alone would prevent pandemics from spreading so far and wide as they do. An infectious disease probably wouldn't make it past a single community if they were to become completely closed off to outsiders.

@omnisomnia It looks like the death rate is really low right now. 369 new deaths today(?) in the USA reported on the worldometer site. 16,006 new cases today(?) but only 369 new deaths. I hear the new anti-inflammatory treatments are lowering the death and complication rate. But I have to wonder how accurate those numbers are. If somebody tests negative for the virus they will probably discount it as a confirmed case even though the virus hasn't been proven to be the cause. We should be counting anybody with the symptoms as having covid19. That includes strokes, heart attacks, and blood clots. We need to compare the number of people who are having strokes, heart attacks, and blood clots to the average numbers to see if the numbers have significantly increased and by how much. If the numbers have significantly increased above the average it's a safe bet those are covid19 cases. You talk about fraud to artificially inflate numbers for the sake of a profit but I have to wonder if maybe people are artificially lowering the numbers to put an end to the shutdowns and such. Aside from that, didn't the gov stop paying for the artificially inflated numbers? I mean didn't a lot of that funding already end?

@omnisomnia I'm not sure the funding stopped. I thought I heard it had. Regardless, the numbers of covid19 deaths are dropping though. But death isn't the only danger of this disease. It can permanently disable too by causing organ damage and even CNS damage. I'm not sure if the percentage of cases which end up dead rather than disabled has decreased. I can't find any current statistics for causes of death. The best I can find is this: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/covid-data/data-visualization.htm And this: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/covid-data/covidview/index.html That last link includes some PIC data, PIC being Pneumonia, Influenza, and Covid19 data. But because the pneumonia and influenza cases are merged with covid19 cases it's hard to be sure whether the numbers of pneumonia and influenza went up or down. If you find a chart showing the numbers for related conditions in recent months please do share.

@omnisomnia Oh. Ok. Yeah, it dawned on me evan koch was talking about 1% of the US population which would be 3.3 million since that is 1% of 330 million. Right? Current US population is approximately 330 million. You'd said the death rate is 1% and evan koch was thinking that would mean 3.3 million would die if true. But that's presuming everyone will get covid19. I'm not convinced everyone will get covid19.

@thedangerous1 Did you mean 821,000 deaths? If you presume the death rate is 1% and you presume everyone gets covid19 then the number of deaths would be 821,000 if the number of students is 82.1 million. That's an overestimation though if you ask me.

@ReadyFreddie5523 Have the long term effects been studied yet? Anything for which long term effects are not known because they have not been properly studied is "experimental". There is now a threat of imprisonment for anyone deemed to be spreading misinformation but I'd say that pales in comparison to the threat of execution for violating the nurenberg code which forbids involuntary medical experimentation. I see the fact check sites are claiming that this nurenberg code does not apply because nobody is being forced. But people ARE being coerced under threat of losing their jobs/income, possibly becoming bankrupt and/or homeless, and when you are coerced into consenting to something your consent is regarded as "involuntary consent". So the nurenberg code is being violated imo. The problem is the UN seems to be supporting this violation if it's not responsible for it.

@valerielutter7921 Only one brand was reported as being granted full FDA approval (not all brands) but only for certain groups of people not everyone. And do you know when that full approval goes into effect?

@valerielutter7921 I don't care if the polio vaccine was also given emergency use authorization. What does that prove? That doesn't change the fact that emergency use authorization is still "experimental" in many people's opinion if long term effects are not yet known. I know people who were permanently disabled by the polio vaccine. CDC admits that the live polio virus vaccine is now the main cause of polio. BTW it was never actually proven polio virus was responsible for the so-called polio outbreaks back in the day the polio vaccine was introduced. Rarely did docs actually verify that the symptoms were actually caused by polio. They diagnosed polio based solely on the symptoms. Part of the reason for that was so march of dimes would pay the medical bills (march of dimes is a charity devoted primarily to polio patients). Otherwise the medical bills would likely not have been paid. So they blamed it on polio. The real cause may have been the neurotoxic pesticide DDT which was being sprayed all over at the time. Watch that brad pitt movie set in the 50's, titled "The Tree of Life", which shows how kids used to play in the fog of DDT as it was being sprayed in neighborhoods.

@rhaelfixer2584 Oh so if you get the covid vaccines you won't get covid? If so that's news to me. There are people whose religious belief forbids vaccines. Have you no respect for religious freedom? Besides that people with common sense avoid experimental medications unless they are suffering or dying from some sort of disease. Even then many will wait until the long term effects are known and the med has received full FDA approval instead of taking the risk of taking somethimg which could get pulled from the market by the FDA bevause it proved to have long term effects which made it too dangerous. BTW have you ever heard of pharmacogenic testing? That is a test a doc or pharmacist can order to determine whether you will have an adverse reaction to a med or vaccine based on your genetic profile. How often do docs or pharmacists do that before dispensing a med or vaccine? Almost never. Why is that? Hmmm? Do you know how many lives could be spared if they did do that testing beforehand? Many drugs would not need to be pulled from the market either because most if not all only adversely affect (primarily) people with certain genetic profiles.

I said people with common sense don't take experimental meds unless they are suffering or dying of some disease because of the risk of unknown adverse side effects in the long term. You think that statement is a conspiravy theory? No, it's not a comspiracy theory. It's a simple fact. You obviously don't know what a conspiracy theory is. A conspiracy theory is a belief in some conspiracy. I didn't say anything about a conspiracy. I simply pointed out the fact that people have a fear of the risk of unknown side effects which may be discovered in years to come. Are you denying that this risk exists?

@rhaelfixer2584 What about measles? When I was growing up measles was not feared. It was regarded like chicken pox which was also not feared. And was the measles vaccine an experimental vaccine with only an EUA when it was first released? What makes past vaccines different from the covid vaccine? The main difference is the pfizer covid vaccine is the first mRNA vaccine. I'm not going to explain all the reasons people fear mRNA vaccines. I'm sure you are familiar with those reasons. But one reason is some people believe that it is playing god to tamper with god's creation and it is against their beliefs to do that. Conventional medical care does not conflict with the beliefs of all these people. It does for some but not all of them. True some (but not all) of these people do get vaccinated with other vaccines. I'm guessing that is because they are not mRNA vaccines and have full FDA approval meaning they have (reportedly) been proven safe even in the long term.

@rhaelfixer2584 Tell me, what's the probability of getting dangerously sick or dying from covid19? In contrast, what is the probability of you getting into a car crash? I'll bet your chances of getting into an injurious or deadly car crash are greater than your chances of getting dangerously sick or dying from covid19. So why don't they ban cars? If every life matters so much that they'd impose social isolation and lockdowns (quarantine) on EVERYONE, in addition to shutdown businesses deemed non-essential, all to save the weak and vulnerable (like they did in response to covid19), then why don't they ban cars? Humans survived for millenia without cars. It's not like we can't live without them. Quite the contrary.

@rhaelfixer2584 It may be more people have gotten sick and died from covid19 than automobile accidents (although that is debateable) but the principle remains the same: if we are going to these extremes in response to covid19 to save everybody we can because every life matters then why don't we apply the same logic to everything beginning with automobiles. Ban cigarettes. Ban alcohol. Ban cell phones, wifi, and all other radios. I could think of many other things which should be banned. Ban metals mining. Ban the manufacture of everything which results in toxic pollution of the environment and destruction of the ecosystem. Ban it now! Let's go back to the stone age. Extinction of the human race and most other forms of life on planet Earth is the likely alternative if we don't. Compare THAT to a pandemic which affects only a small percentage of the population! So why do we go to such extremes to save a few where some disease is concerned but fail to take measures to save everyone from the death, injury, and disease which will result from all the other things? Trust me, EVERYONE is adversely affected by those other things I mentioned. They will at least make us all ill at some point in our lives. People get sick from eating contaminated seafood and air/water pollution. They get sick and die from pesticides in food. They get sick and die from hormones in meat. They get sick and die from plastics. They get sick and die from second hand smoke. What are we doing to prevent that? Not enough to stop it. I call for an immediate ban on all these things and their manufacture. Shut it ALL down! Let's go back to the stone age. Extinction is the alternative because humans are apparently too stupid and filthy to implement the non-polluting technologies and methods of manufacture which a few of their best minds have invented. So back to the stone age they should go.

About 20 to 50 million are injured each year in automobile accidents with most of those suffering permanent disabilities. I know several people who have been injured or killed in automobile accidents (including myself). I don't know anybody who has gotten covid19. I don't understand your argument about traffic laws. How do traffic laws apply to the debate over mandatory vaccines? How are people breaking the law by simply exercising their rights (freedom of religion, right to refuse medication as specified in the medical bill of rights made federal law in the 90's)? You are trying to criminalize that which cannot be criminalized (right to refuse medication/treatment) and doing so is TREASONOUS. Imagine if it was suddenly discovered that many people are allergic to certain other people. Should we then start segregating them by requiring proof you are hypoallergenic? Or should those with the disability maybe find a way to adapt (instead of forcing everyone else to bend over backwards to make the world safer for those with the abnormal immune systems)? What the gov is doing with mandatory vaccines is requiring everyone to seriously alter their nature and biology to accomodate those with a certain disability (weak/dysfunctional immune systems). That's going too far IMO. That's NOT like requiring businesses to be wheelchair accessible to accomodate the disabled. That's way beyond that. That's more akin to putting everyone in a wheelchair to make the world a better place for people in wheelchairs. You can't expect the whole world to alter their nature and biology to that extreme to accomodate the disabled. Instead of forcing everyone to stay home or get the vaxx to protect those with abnormal immune systems, those with abnormal immune systems can protect themselves by getting the vaxx or isolating themselves. Did all the social isolation work? Do you understand that the extreme social isolation was an experiment (which did not work as expected)? That violates the nuremberg code against involuntary medical experimentation. Tell me, why does everybody need to get the vaxx? Isn't it sufficient for the vulnerable to get vaxxed? With boosters required every few months they can vaxx against any new strains which may emerge so the argument that the unvaxxed will breed new strains whoch could then infect the vaxxed seems an invalid argument to me. The truth is the vaxx doesn't guarantee you won't get covid. Despite that fact you continue to pretend it does and demand everyone get vaxxed. Don't you see the flaw in your logic? People will continue to get sick and die of covid even if everybody did get vaxxed. Covid19 is not going to go away completely. A better solution needs to be found. And better solutions already exist (although they remain largely) unknown. They simply need to be used. But they aren't used because they aren't as profitable as the vaccines (and boosters). So the vaccine is pushed and alternatives suppressed. Whether you know it or not you're just a shill for big pharma and the medical cartel. Their decision must be voluntary above all else. Now I see it is claimed by fact checker sites nobody is forcing anybody to get vaxxed but they ARE being coerced to get vaxxed under threat of losing their income and becoming bankrupt and homeless in addition to excluded from society (which is discrimination). You better hope this vaxx doesn't turn out to kill or disable a large portion of those who receive it. If it does then the militaries of many nations will be rendered unable to defend against a takeover by enemies. But then again it will also cause the collapse of civilisation. IMO people do need to decide whether they are going to continue to commit suicide by contributing to the destruction of the ecosystem and extinction of the human race and most life on earth or, instead, choose life for themselves and future generations. It may be people are now being forced to make that decision. In the end we may see a sustainable future secured. So perhaps I shouldn't be complaining and in fact am not actually complaining but simply sharing my thoughts. I only hope for the best after all.

Back to the original topic blacks are the majority of antivaxxers because many believe vaccines are genocidal and part of a eugenics program to eliminate blacks/browns. You accuse me of ignoring your points yet you have not yet answered my questions. I asked you whether the extreme social isolation imposed by gov on everyone has worked as we were told it would? I asked you why it is not sufficient for the vulnerable to be vaxxed? Why must everyone be vaxxed? The gov said they only needed 60% or 70% of the population to get vaxxed to achieve herd immunity. Now they are saying around 100% of the population needs to be vaccinated? Why is that?

@rhaelfixer2584 Not everybody who has a religious objection to vaccines is opposed to modern medical treatments and uses only prayer to heal themselves. As I already explained earlier many antivaxxers are simply opposed to playing god by attempting to improve upon the creator's/nature's design.

The chance of getting sick or making others sick from covid (if that is even truly possible) is much lower than the chance of becoming bankrupt or homeless from being fired for refusing to get vaxxed. Nearly 100% of certain groups of people who refuse to get vaxxed will become bankrupt or homeless due to losing their income because they were fired for refusing the jab.

It is claimed by many in the black community that proof of vaccination requirements are being used to keep blacks out of businesses, a way to segregate them, because many blacks will not have proof of vaccination since the largest group of antivaxxers are blacks who believe vaccines are part of a genocidal eugenics program. I'm not saying that is correct but rather that is what many believe.

@rhaelfixer2584 The fact that in some cases proof of testing negative for covid or proof of natural immunity is not allowed (as an exemption from the jab) in addition to no medical or religous exemptions being allowed is appalling to me. Not allowing medical exemptions is discrimination on the basis of a medical condition IMO. I see employers are deciding whether people's religious beliefs are valid or not and many people's religious beliefs are being deemed invalid by their employers. This is a clear violation of right to religious belief and laws forbidding discrimination against people on the basis of their religious belief. Let me be clear, the whole purpose of the right to freedom of religious belief and laws forbiddibg discrimination on the basis of said beliefs is to protect you from discrimination by anyone deeming your religious beliefs invalid or irrational. Yet what is happening is people are being allowed to discriminate against people who hold certain religious beliefs because they've been deemed invalid or irrational by those discriminating. This is a clear violation of human rights. How much longer do you think these violations will go unpunished?

How many people have died or been injured in auto accidents in the past 40 years? 60 million have died and 2 billion injured/disabled. The numbers of those who have died and been injured from covid19 will likely pale in comparison in the end.

I'm not going to cite any numbers here lest somebody challenge the numbers and accuse me of spreading misinfo and get me banned from youtube. Numbers vary from source to source and over time so I am not going to fall into that trap.
