I imagine the US never had any beef with the Russian Nation, it is the Russian LEADERS that have been a problem from Stalin onward. In fact, the non-Russian world should feel sorry for the Russian nation that has been oppressed by authoritarian leaders for centuries.

Greed, cruelty, deceit and broken promises were the mainstay in how the US dealt with the Natives. They finally won, simply by providing plenty of booze to a race that cannot tolerate alcohol. The US should hang it's head in shame...

Carlton Wilson, I just KNEW there were any number of people like you around in the US! The gall of using the desperate guerrilla atrocities of natives against settlers as an excuse for outright genocide (and the associated land-grabs) is simply disgusting. It is idiotic to maintain that the settlers were such a law-abiding bunch that they refused to use the most potent weapon at their disposal - whisky. To top it off, you imply that all the citizens of Norway and Denmark collaborated with the Nazis! For your information, the portion of Danes and Norwegians that actually collaborated with Hitler and his cronies was only a tiny fraction of the portion of Americans now supporting Trump and the Trumpzis in their quest to dismantle what is still left of your once proud nation. The vast majority of those nations resisted the Nazis at every turn, and the Danish used every means available to shelter those hunted by the Nazis and smuggle them to safety in Sweden. You are simply exposing yourself as an ignorant, self-centered individual. There is not much that is "great" about America these days, and has not been for decades. A wealthy nation that does not take care of the less fortunate of it's population has nothing to brag about. You truly should hang your head in shame in that regard!

I loved the quip "It was a cold day, he had nothing to be proud of", probably meaning that his normally proud tackle more resembled a wart. Typical understated British humour.

This clip ended on a tribute to the most dangerous president the US ever had, the president that started the corrupted decline that Trump is currently presiding over, the decline that is likely to end US democracy as we know it.

At he time of the Eyjafjallajökull eruption, I was a domestic airline pilot in Iceland, flying turboprops that are just as vulnerable as ordinary jetliners. The irony: We were mostly able to operate normally during all the trans-Atlantic cancellations, as close as 10 miles from the eruption, PROVIDED we could do so VFR (visually, no flying in clouds), and thus able to avoid any visible volcanic ash contamination. We never had any issues.

The US is one of only 7 countries on Earth that has not officially adopted the metric system? To the best of my knowledge, there are only 3 sovereign holdouts: The US, Liberia and Myanmar.

Carlton Wilson, your "pro-American leader" seems to be in Putin's pocket. Great prospects for the US. Also, he uses Dr. Goebbels's propaganda tactics to the hilt by constantly repeating the same hypocritical lies, in the expectation that people will start believing them...

I have often wondered if many of the actions undertaken during WW2 should be classified as war crimes. One, the choice of targets - by both sides - was definitely a war crime by any standard: Bombing the residence of civilians (instead of war-relevant targets like factories, airfields an harbours). Second, the blatant recklessness of leaders - on both sides - in sending their men on what can only be called suicidal missions.
