The portrayal of Neanderthals in this clip is weird - they are all wrinkled and weary, individuals apparently at the end of their life. 40-45, the expected lifespan at the time was OLD, and wrinkly etc. The reproductive age for any stone-age individual will have been far younger, in the bloom of their youth (early teens by our standards?), and looking vastly different from what is being portrayed here.
