  1. I live in the most 'Muricanized (spelled: the most politically corrupt) Nordic country, Iceland. Our right-wing politicians have been trying - but fortunately failing miserably so far, trying to 'Muricanize our health care system. Health care is very affordable. Essential and critical drugs are very affordable as well, only 'luxury' or non-essential drugs are still expensive, something that is not the case in our fellow Nordic countries. Is it any wonder that most people here vote non-right? Sadly, the main issue facing Icelandic voters is to vote for the least-destructive political parties at any given time. This is an ongoing battle. Fortunately for us, we have magnificent role models: Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The chances of becoming an 'Murican medical hellhole are minimal. Listen to Bernie! He has been consistent and truthful on this issue for decades! The rest of the world can only feel sorry for all the Americans that are stuck in the unchained capitalistic hellhole that is the US.

  2. This is not about Norway or even the Nordic countries. All the North European countries have a similar system: Health care and education is a RIGHT, not a privilege. If you 'Muricans are unable to grasp the concept that has been working perfectly well for us since WW2 (in many ways inspired by Roosevelt's post-war 'Murica), you are living in a dystopian world....

  3. Bernie has been consistent in what he's been fighting for at least four decades. It is only recently that he is getting support from progressive 'Democrats' (AOC etc.). If ´Murican voters are adamant about being ripped off by e.g. big pharma, it is their choice. The only thing we outsiders can do is to watch the debacle and feel sorry for ordinary US citizens that are deprived of all the rights provided by North-European countries, those the US is supposed to be like. This simply cannot end well... One would think that Bernie should be discouraged by the apathy of the US general population, but he still soldiers on!
