Goosebump territory, every time.

"...coming in at number XYZ" is becoming a Beato trademark! For the record, I can only wholeheartedly agree with your choice of top LZ riffs - we might not agree to the exact order, but I will humbly bow to yourexpertise any day. I consider it a privilege to be able to watch your YouTube content. I can fiddle along on a number of instruments, but I will never reach the level of expertise you have (I consider my only worthwhile contribution to music to be knowing when to quit). You sometimes dig deeper into a piece of music that I love than I can follow but - hey, no problem, I'll just wait until reappear again.

Most modern music rarely DOES anything for me, but I chalk that up to the generation gap (I'm 73) and is MY problem, not so much the fault of modern musicians. A simple flashback to the era of the Beatles & Rolling Stones: My parents and grandparents had a similar problem with them and I guess now it's my turn regarding the music my grandchildren like. Oh well, what goes around comes around.

Rick, this was very good and timely rant. Spot on!

Agreed, a fitting Swan Song of the Beatles!

You silly sod - you missed one of the best: I Feel Fine - The Beatles!

Then again - there is no accounting for taste...

I fully expected to click off this clip early in disgust (taste is acquired, not earned or deserved) - and I was right! No reflection on Rick and his taste for music! He knows infinitely more about music than I ever will, but I gave up listening within 3 minutes... Then I returned an listened to the entire clip and, giving Rick the benefit of the doubt, it ain't bad - only not to my personal taste. Again, Rick knows his music and I´m certainly not going to argue with him - but this music is not what I go for - sorry, no offense intended,

Rick, I watched your last video in it's entirety (I'm a 75 year old ADHD case) and saw no reason to comment: Your theory or hypothesis seems sound and I have nothing to add! I am often guilty of just what you are pointing out here: Writing a comment only 1/3rd into various videos and then checking out, only to find out later that I was being a total prat - driven home by later watching the entire videos and then being able to feel shamed and silly at my leisure...

I always thought the "perfect pitch" was the ability to hold a note (voice or e.g. violin) at exactly the same pitch as other voices/instruments in a band/orchestra, and that "absolute pitch" was the ability described in this video. Mozart was supposedly an famous example.
