  1. What a depressing issue. Less than 3 minutes into this 10-minute clip I am simply checking out! The US is in a death spiral, with the 'haves' being merciless against the 'have nots'. This cannot end well - the last time a similar situation developed, an icon of the 'haves' said "Let them eat cake", and it ended with a bloodbath, with most of the 'haves' losing their heads, literally. Fortunately I am a citizen of one of the Nordic countries (one where the police is unarmed) an can only watch the demise of 'Murica with morbid fascination, from afar.

  2. A car can be lethal if not properly operated, which is why you need to go through the bother of obtaining a driving license. Any gun is just as lethal if not properly operated. Is there any valid reason NOT requiring people to be properly educated and licensed if they want to own such a lethal device?

  3. Turkey is now reaping the fruits of rampant corruption - unimaginable and unnecessary deaths because building code violations were actually legalized - via bribery! Will things like this be the end of Erdogan? Unlikely, but one can always hope...
