  1. Compare and contrast Biden's rare (so far only?) departure from courtesy during press conferences, to Trumps incessant mud-slinging and name-calling during Trump's tenure in the spotlight! At least Biden called Doozy to apologize for this one-off breach of decorum - and apparently Doozy accepted the apology.

  2. AOC was even cuter when she younger than she is now as a mature young woman. She is probably brighter (more intelligent) than many of her older colleagues combined. The best thing is how unapologetic she is when it comes to the issues she believes in and is fighting for. Way to go Alexandria!

  3. Regarding the Census and undocumented people: The Census data may be strictly confidential by law, but the Trumpzis are not famous for their law-abiding ways. I would not be surprised if Census data is eventually "leaked" and Homeland Gestapo will start knocking on doors... The safest way to prevent that is to make sure that the Trumpzis are voted out in a landslide come November.

  4.  @TheLoreSeeker , I am of that generation (I'm 69), but I have lived all my life in a social-democratic country so I KNOW what it's like to live in the kind of society that AOC is fighting for. Affordable Health Care and Education has been a RIGHT in my country for decades, even if our right-wing politicians have been trying to Americanize these things, fortunately with limited success so far. All our energy is renewable (hydro & geothermal) so we only have to clean house regarding transportation. That should be relatively painless for us, compared to many other countries.

  5. Maybe fervent right-wingers should be exempt from all restrictions - that would certainly solve a lot of problems in a few week's time. The statistics would be interesting: Old people are more likely to die than young people, males are more likely to die than females, right-wingers are more likely to die than progressives...

  7. Yep, the Coronavirus will be subdued, be it in 1 or 2 years, hopefully with not too many lives lost. Extreme ideologues (religious, political, stupid or otherwise) will be with mankind as long as mankind exists.
