  1. I will never be able to identify with gay men, if only because I am as straight as they come and have only been interested in females in that regard. Lesbians, however, I can identify with, for obvious reasons. What makes no sense to me is why a relatively few religious fanatics should be able to dictate the lives of half of humanity (females) or certain minority groups (gays and non-whites), be it own-body autonomy of females or the sexual preferences of the 10% of humanity that does not have the same sexual preferences as I do! The most amiable, gentle and tolerant people I know are gay. They are few and far between
