  1. One thing is clear: The vast majority of "Developed Western Nations" have broadly agreed on a norm to follow regarding governance and society: Equality, Fraternity and Liberty (a French idea!). When WW2 ended, the main role model was the US - and most European nations followed that model and actually kept on improving on an excellent idea! What you have today is the post-WW2 US-inspired social-democratic model that is extremely successful in Europe today, with the north-European and Nordic countries leading the way. It is a real pity that the US converted into 'Murica and is now heading for the toilet, rapidly becoming a dystopian area. Frankly, when a non-'Murican like myself (strict gun laws!) starts dreaming about AR15-treated SCOTUS justices with glee (brains blown out etc.), the rot is REALLY spreading!
