  1. I have a sneaky suspicion that too many US public-safety institutions have been corrupted by big money over at least 4 decades. I fear the US is about to have the results of that corruption about crash around their ears is the immediate future. We have shining example, where an aircraft manufacturer (Boeing) was allowed to self-regulate and get away with cutting corners that resulted in spectacular crashes and loss of life. Another spectacular and ongoing loss-of-life case (approaching half a million US citizens) is the Covid death toll, caused mainly by the systematic dismantling and paralyzing of relevant institutions. Yet another case that is brewing (has not yet been acknowledged and researched) is how big corporations have been allowed to pollute large areas of the US, rendering many places unfit for human inhabitation (e.g. Flint, Michigan). Still another case of corruption: Just compare how the EU regulates food production and additives Europeans consume, compared to what is going on in the US! How many US-based food additives and food production practices have been outright BANNED in the EU for years! One day the average 60-year old US citizen that has been very careful about his/her health will find that they have been feed outright poison that will negate all their careful health considerations. Finally, I reccomment that US citizens consider just WHY their areas are being consumed by heat waves / forest fires / Tornados / Hurricanes / Floods / extreme winter storms etc. Take your pick. Scientists have been predicting increasingly extreme weather patterns for decades, and you are just seeing the beginning!
