  1. As far as I can see, the Swedes are the most realistic about this. They simply use plastic as fuel, burn it under very controlled conditions that gets rid of the plastic itself and provides energy for other uses (instead of using oil products). True, it does NOT solve the Co2 problem, but it takes care of the "backlog" of undesirable stuff (the plastic Himalayas) we have been producing for too long.
