  1. Ehrm... If the dissolution of the Soviet Union was not legal because they never voted on it, is Nazi Germany still not legally terminated because Germans never voted on it? At least the Germans never tried that argument, they surrendered unconditionally - and really suffered for it under Soviet rule. The USSR simply crumbled under it's own weigh and corruption - it went bust, bankrupt! As such it ceased to be, having no say about being unsustainable. Russia picked up some of the pieces and, lo and behold, only one decade into some hopeful experimentation with democracy, autocracy and corruption took over again in the form of Putin. I wonder if the Russian nation is beyond salvation, like a rabid dog that cannot be cured?
