  1. I like the phrase "he walked on". The fact that no one will survive being born, the end of life should not be something to be feared. A life well lived is the best any of us can hope for, hopefully a long and productive life - but a short but productive life is nothing to be sneezed at! If you are remembered fondly by your contemporaries when you "walk on", you must have been doing something right! I am pretty sure that if Native Americans had been able to maintain the lifestyle they had established before the "palefaces" came along, they would not have the health problems they now do. The sneaky genocide the "palefaces" have committed against the Natives will always be a major blemish on the history on the US, hopefully never to be completely erased
