  2. Communicating with the mothership, once every half an hour, he’s not “ almost a religion” at all. Religion is a fictional belief of nonmeasured and unprovable occurrences , measuring the depth and progress of a science vessel under the ocean is not that. He’s implying that religious devotion is more tangible, then scientific repeatable and provable measurements. It’s utter nonsense. Fair play to everything else he said , but holding religion higher than science, when it comes to saving peoples lives, is one of the most insane things I have ever heard
