@connernickerson5509 not necessarily the article content, but the graphic and violent language used to make it. We have a Parliament suffering from aggravated speech, they’re trying to calm it down. We have a divided nation and a lot of angry brexiteers looking for every reason, any excuse to keep the aggression levels high. I’m a fan of Jordan, his videos have got me through a lot and as long as he stays away from politics directly I’ve been very appreciative. Writing pieces with this much vitriol towards the left in a paper only bought by the very right wing is a tad… sensationalist. Tasteless. Tone deaf. Not conducive to calm debate. Good points maybe, but made way too forcefully.

Well, I have MORE questions not LESS, and that always seems to be the case when I try to learn about crypto. Everyone has a different description. 🤷🏼‍♂️

@RaveShaman it makes psychological sense, when the individual is better off there is less worry about oneself and more concern for knee community. More people in better education leads to better problem solving. The gamble is the time it takes to find the next ecological genius and how much pollution is caused in the meantime. I agree largely with Peterson, but if we want cheap fast energy the cleanest way is nuclear. ..again the gamble is real. Not an easy problem.

I’ve lived in the UK for 42 years and there is a lot that Doyle says that simply shouldn’t be taken as heard. “You’re being watched by cameras all over the UK” (paraphrased) Really? Have you ever been outside of a city? Do you know most of the UK is rural? Not many cameras up trees, chap. Civic centres have cameras… the cameras go where the crime goes and if you don’t like it you may go somewhere else, I promise you those cameras do more good than whatever governmental conspiratorial bad you are assuming. Ask the business owners… ask the women walking home alone from the pub at night, or from work on those dark winter evenings. Ask anybody that’s been attacked, or the victim of an accident. They’re not trying to read your phone or criminalise the innocent. He really seems to over exaggerate everything he says… can’t hold down the comedian eh. I don’t like him and I don’t feel I can trust him at all. Jordan, as always the pinnacle of eloquence and poise, thank you for another interesting (if a tad infuriating at times) conversation. “No one understands the issue” what? Nobody at all? Did you just generalise again Andrew? I can’t trust his words, they make my uncomfortable and I’m not sure why, other than they don’t seem to line up with my own experience. .. I guess Jordan isn’t trying to interview me though… “People are sick of the entertainment on their TV” REALLY Andrew?? EVERYONE?? If there is a god, maybe they could check up on this guy once in a while and chill him out a little.

Oh shit he’s a GB News (specialist right wing media platform for the conning of the poor) presenter. Was a teacher… likes power by the sound of it. Should fit in well on a right wing channel. THAT tells me everything. That’s why he couldn’t really define his income without obvious avoidance. GB News has already faced major backlash for being a political and incredibly divisive news platform in the same vein as the American networks. Grim. Note to self, avoid Andrew Doyle in future. I did listen to every word he said but I considered them all objectively and many I have no faith in.

There were a bunch of worrying comments from this guy.. especially around not really caring for animal welfare by drastically minimising their living space. That way leads to horror. Seems very anti Europe too.. I get that as a basic American but really? “Irrelevant”? Lol. Why do these people sound like they drive global division rather than advocate for it? He brings more problems than likely solutions. Am I missing something?

His tone when he says what his directives are in the party is subdued, like it’s an order not a choice. Also… why keep pointing out what the left do, but only in very generalist and strangely strict terms? Interesting as a Brit listening with an inkling that we are set to follow the American style chaos at next election time. The US has a toxicity across the world. It’s like the new English empire but with way more weapons and more unhinged politicians. Not fun to,watch, but interesting to observe.

Yet another fascinating conversation, makes mowing my lawn far more bearable and I have multiple chronic illness so that is quite some compliment!! I did notice Jordan totally sidestep the autistic trait question though. Have been curious about his personal position on this myself.
