Satellites measuring water levels and natural fires, mobile phones, satellite guidance, emergency communications, let alone the materials and biological sciences that go on up there that we benefit from too. We CAN do more than one thing at a time as a species, if you can’t don’t worry, just stick to what you’re good at.. …which isn’t optimism.. YouTube comment sections isn’t the right place for you. I don’t think the UK needs a massive space industry just yet, but to discount space is to discount learning about our universe and ourselves. It’s very closed minded
