  19. This audio mate. Fine for the first minute then goes distorted. Listening on phones or pads, or my studio monitors is just uncomfortable. Either you’re too close to the mic, recording too loud into your software, or the battery in the mic is dying. “S” and “t” is painful and the low end is distorted and you really need a pop shield too. Distorted audio causes stress and fatigue, and you say so many words in such a short time, that fatigue is RAPID. I like your channel, but audio is VERY important.

  42. OK, so it really is starting to feel like we need to SLOW T F DOWN. I can’t trust my Mum with Alexa why THE HELL am I going to be happy about a 6 foot machine running around with her? Too soon. I am absolutely for progress, I love the speed we are doing this, but we really need to talk about security from every possible angle, because Ai will DEFINITELY be aware of some less obvious ones. There could end up being thousands of different Ai’s. I won’t use a capital letter for ‘intelligence” in Ai, because it is NOT ‘intelligence’ as we understand it. It has not been nurtured.. we can’t even identify how it’s doing some things. ALREADY! why are we obviously far more bothered about using Ai for commercial robots and not saving the environment? Are the geeks just planning to hand us over to silicon to further artificially prolong our species?

  43.  @Scott8TN  most of America is on insurance based healthcare that limits access to many treatments, in the UK if you want to be seen within the year you have to go private.. third world countries still exist. Millions still live without hardwired electricity, or emergency medical care. Only a 1/3 of people own a car… I don’t live near a public transport system with useful regularity.. USA and UK in a housing crisis… None of the things you said are available to everybody at all times. There are poor countries still.. and impoverished parts of rich ones… like our 8 million in poverty.. half of them children. I could argue everything you said was done for profit or fame. If AGI pops up, it’s going to be reserved for the rich.

Did allowing kids to use calculators in maths make them better mathematicians, or better calculator operators? ..because there’s a lot less people able to do mental arithmetic now than in my parents generation and beyond. Did microwaves make better chefs? No, it unleashed an epidemic of obesity in TV dinners.. When we allow anything to increase expedience, and learn to rely on it, it diminishes our core abilities. Ok you can do “more”, but do it in a power cut, or with dead batteries, or no internet connection.. What evidence do you have that people get better skilled when technology fills the gaps for us? I need to know what you saw that convinced you so deeply.
