I have no idea about alberta. It's very scarcely populated while cali has more people than canada. In a huge sparsely populated area, people will not have enough money or manpower to counter natural calamities, they will use their taxes for border security and patrol and national security, that's priority over preventing wildfires in an area where maybe a few people live per square miles. That would be my guess for alberta. But that's not the point, the point is this is done on purpose by the democrats and that's a crime against the Californian people.
