  34. Tmux seems cool until you realize you cannot copy text from the terminal and paste to another area of the OS. To me, the lack of this obvious feature makes tmux a nonstarter. Only workaround I've seen is installing a plugin manager (that doesn't have wsl support) and use `tmux-yank` that hasn't been updated in 6 years. Big yikes

Although the time complexity appears to be quadratic due to the while loop nested within the for loop, closer inspection reveals it to be linear. Because the while loop is reached only when currentNum marks the beginning of a sequence (i.e. currentNum-1 is not present in nums), the while loop can only run for nn iterations throughout the entire runtime of the algorithm. This means that despite looking like O(n \cdot n)O(nā‹…n) complexity, the nested loops actually run in O(n + n) = O(n)O(n+n)=O(n) time. All other computations occur in constant time, so the overall runtime is linear.

Went back to school after struggling many years and finished my degree. I'm still working up to a Netflix like job after 15 years in software engineering. Stay blessed

  40. I disagree strongly with the statement "practicing LeetCode over and over again is a waste of time" (paraphrasing). As you mention, level 1 of the interviewing process is "Can you code?" Amazon asks candidates to solve a DP problem with backtracking for level 1. This is a skill that has to be practiced over and over again. I have 14 YOE. There is no chance I'm going to get a solution unless I've practiced this style of programming. Maybe I just suck at writing code šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚
