@babygerald4645 Poland receives +100 billion Euro pa from Brussels. It's a beneficiary state in the EU - not a contributing state. A beggar is hardly big boy material.

Where do you think all your nice infrastructure came from? -Hint: It didn't come from your potato export. You're not the first "proud" Pole who've had to realize this. @paulmeaney1283 Yes, it's a bizarro situation for sure - a race for the bottom. It wasn't that long ago where I thought that this and future generations of Poland could come to terms with history and look forward in a constructive manner. I completely underestimated the militarization of Poland since the US incorporated them in their global strategy during Operation Desert Storm (1991). I see Poland as a deeply divided - an almost hyper-tribalist country, where the few cry for battle, completely ignoring the fact that they will be thrown under the bus in the end - as they've been thrown under the bus before. It's becoming harder and harder to have any sympathy with Poland, a country ruled by entitled megalomaniacs who use [misuse] their EU membership to their fullest advantage.
