Here in San Francisco, we are ashamed of the fact that we displaced the local tribal people, built over their lands, converted them to Spanish Catholicism, and held on to the area despite the victimization of the native peoples. We support the Nature Conservancy, which is in league with Greenpeace and is against the use of natural resources for the support of agriculture, ranching, and housing.
