  4. Wisconsin and their pub culture. There are a lot of people who don't go into other people's pubs unless there is a special invitation. It's not that they are mean. There are just ethnic, religious, and certain cultural lines that they hew to. I've never been there. It's just a way of here in San Francisco. There are some people who are proscribed from certain bars here too. Those people whom the barkeep doesn't like. The line will be, "The cook is off. No food for you here. I don't support your appetite because I don't like you."

When employers and hiring managers are showing themselves to be Bad Bosses, they actually make their hires while ignoring the "waffle light" on the far side and do their own vetting and research of the resumes of their potential hires. When the faceless automaton employee the "waffle light" thinks they are assuming responsibilities, the "waffle light" was not able to find the possibility there. If the "waffle light" finds them specifically applying for work, the hiring manager is unable to think the employee is telling the truth about his or her resume and credentials.
