It's true. For a while COVID-19 was a big thing. It seemed to be a very fashionable way to die. Top billing. The comorbidities just didn't seem to be as sexy. When the sexiness of a death needs to have an attention-getting etiology in order to have an attention-getting aspect. Who milks the causes of death for determining whether it's a good vector? Peter Graves as the pilot that is supposed to determine the victorious vector, but the co-pilot and the pilot both ate the fish and not the chicken. The bird flu was chicken, the swine flu was the fish, I suppose. Another way of classification based upon those as numb as some actuaries. I am a bit of that numb, because I was a medical transcriptionist. The further away you are from the actual deaths, the more philosophical you tend to be, but I wouldn't want to be Nicholas Flamel, who needs to use death vectors to try to sustain his life, lengthening his life while others die. Pastors having hard times can wish for a funeral as a bit of a windfall, but they really shouldn't have a way to influence things that way. No imprecatory prayers. O that God would that all cause all to become decent and law-abiding people! One person can't do but be one pebble in a pool, making the concentric waves from where that penetration was. Hardly any of the effect is going to be obvious on the surface the longer ago that pebble was dropped in. There is Dennis the Menace (everything new and superficial) versus Calvin (everything old and too old to do anything about). There are some issues that are just continually intractable challenges people take positions on.
