re 6:35 The Hubble and JWST continue to reveal how limited human understanding is regarding the vast and complex universe around us. Science writer Bill Bryson captures this reality well in his 2004 book "A Short History of Nearly Everything": "We live in a universe whose age we cannot quite compute, surrounded by stars whose distances we cannot altogether know, filled with matter, we cannot identify, operating in conformance with physical laws whose properties we do not truly understand." Given how much remains unknown—and how frequently discoveries challenge existing theories—isn't it the height of hubris to rigidly cling to the idea that the universe exploded into existence when mounting evidence continues to upend many of its foundational assumptions? Wouldn't the most honest scientific approach be to follow where the evidence leads rather than forcing observations to fit a predetermined narrative?
