  18. @Meathead36 Christianity became apostate and merged itself with Pagan Roman beliefs. It is apostate in the truest sense of the word. It is NOT even remotely close to the Christianity Jesus founded. The apostles knew this would happen. At Acts 20:29-30 Paul warned that after his death an apostasy would occur. Jesus warned about it at Matthew 7:15. Peter warned about this as well at 2 Peter 2:1. There are other numerous scriptures where the apostles even called out apostates by name.
